I love this! I just got forwarded this video of John McCain’s former campaign chief Mike Murphy and former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan talking with Chuck Todd about Sarah Palin when they thought they were off camera.
Mike Murphy:

Peggy Noonan:
It’s Over.

I mean, is she really the most qualified woman they could have turned to?
Peggy Noonan:
The most qualified? NO
I think they went for this, excuse me, political bullshit about narratives…
Chuck Todd:
Yeah, they went for narratives!

I’ve been thinking that the McCain campaign just totally blew it with the pick of Palin. I hope more people feel the same way as these two Republican insiders.
